The summer meeting of the Georgia Credit Union Executives Association was held at The King and Prince Hotel on St. Simon's Island August 1-3, 2002. The agenda consisted of a cocktail reception Thursday evening, August 1, a golf tournament, afternoon meeting and reception on Friday, August 2, and an open session Saturday morning, August 3.

The Friday afternoon meeting included a presentation from Michael Mosquito, Co-Founder and President/COO, Securadigm. The focus of the presentation was networking and security. Michael gave an overview of information security. He also covered the risks involved with financial aggregation and the impacts of hacking. He even performed a hacking operation to illustrate how it works.

Saturday morning's open session covered many topics. Among them were employee leasing, insider loans, bill payment, e-statements, call centers and decisioning tools.

The last meeting of 2002 will be held November 14-16 at Chateau Élan in Braselton, Georgia.
